Ma Ganga Inner Tantric Yoga Retreat
A Shakti Celebration! March 9th – 14th 2010

With Pt. Vamadeva Shastri (Dr. David Frawley) and Yogini Shambhavi

The Ma Ganga Inner Tantric Yoga Retreat is a special yearly event hosted by the American Institute of Vedic Studies at a beautiful setting on the Ganga River above the holy city of Rishikesh, India in the Himalayan foothills. The Retreat provides a unique transformative experience for sadhaks and yoga students to create a conscious shift in tapping their divinity within whilst healing, rejuvenating and celebrating life. 2010 is the auspicious time of the Kumbh Mela in Haridwar with important dates for bathing in Ma Ganga’s sacred waters!

Pt Vamadeva Shastri (Dr. David Frawley) & Yogini Shambhavi guide the participants in a yogic celebration of Shiva&Shakti as living realities woven into the entire fabric of life. The teachings are rendered in the traditional gurukul manner, outdoors sitting under Lychee trees laden with flowers with the roaring Ganga as background music. The program includes beautiful evening Arati, Vedic Pujas (sacred offerings), Havan (fire rituals) and Planetary Propitiations every day of the program performed on the very banks of the sacred river.

Spiritual aspirants from India, America, Brazil, Russia, Europe and Turkey and every walk of life gather together to make a conscious shift in their well-being through the ancient wisdom of insightful Yoga, Vedanta, Ayurveda, Vedic astrology, and Shakta (Goddess) traditions in a simple, yet experiential manner, as part of their own inner awakening.

Spend six days deepening Your Yoga Shakti guided through sacred practices designed to awaken the inner self and empower the flow of divine grace within. The beautiful Neemrana resort above Rishikesh inspires one with its pristine settings in Lychee orchards by the River Ganga where individual cottages give one privacy and gourmet vegetarian meals are a delight, set outside on the verandah. Synchronizing our inner being with Nature's benevolent energies draws one into the sacred dance of Shakti, the divine feminine power and Shiva, the universal consciousness.
